Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine sends out a few tweets about V's exciting upbringing

James Valentine took it to Twitter yesterday (Fri, May 30) to say a thing or two about his band Maroon 5's upcoming fifth studio effort, titled V.

After celebrating his sister and Project Runway stars' birthday, he tweeted out saying that he "just came from the studio and every song on the record is really good." Valentine then further tweeted out an appreciation tweet giving a shout out to all the producers who have worked with Maroon 5 on the new album, saying "We're very lucky to have the privilege of working with some of the producers on the planet. Learning a lot every day."

The musician then replied to some fans following the first two posted yesterday. One fan asked why the band's fifth album was titled "V", and James was quick to respond stating "V for Valentine, duh." Another fan questioned if Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine's song "Lost Stars" (from the upcoming motion picture soundtrack of the film Begin Again) will be featured on V and Valentine responded saying "No, but there will be a very special performance coming soon." Hinting at some more exciting news. He was asked by an eager fan how Valentine personally pronounced the new M5 album as he replied saying "I've kind of been saying both "V" and "five.""

A few weeks ago, Maroon 5 announced that the band new album, V will be set for a September 2 release through Interscope and that a single will be released sometime this summer. A tour is scheduled to begin this fall in partnership with Live Nation and Interscope.

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and VS model Behati Prinsloo will marry in Mexico this summer

According to the Huntington Post and US Weekly press, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo will tie-the-knot sometime this summer in Mexico.

Last year in July, the Maroon 5 frontman engaged the Victoria's Secret Fashion model in Los Angeles, California and will be getting married at a disclosed area in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It has been confirmed that the two soon-to-be newly weds will have two ceremonies including one in South Africa so the family and friends of Prinsloo's can celebrate as well.

Maroon 5 Expected to Release New Single Next Month

Maroon 5 may release the lead single to their album V in June

Maroon 5 are expected to release a new single sometime in the coming weeks.

Last week, Maroon 5 issued big news about their highly anticipated fifth studio album, V, which is set for a September 2 release through Interscope Records. However, comparing this album's cycle to the band's previous eras, we can almost predict exactly when the Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum group will drop a new single for the album.

Looking at Maroon 5's third album Hands All Over's phase cycle, we see the release of it's lead single "Misery" on June 22 and the album's release set for a September 21 release just almost approximately 3 months later. Now, if we compared this album to V's possible cycle, we could expect a new single on the dates of June 3, June 10, or June 17, almost approximately three months prior to the fifth album's release on September 2.

However, if we compare V's album cycle to Maroon 5's fourth studio album, Overexposed's cycle, we could possibly be waiting a whole month longer for a lead single. In 2012, the band dropped Overexposed's lead "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa on April 17 just two months before the album's releae date for June 26 that summer. If V's cycle would mimic that of Overexposed's, we could possibly see a new single on either July 8, July 15, or July 22.

And maybe to compare previous album cycles prior to 2010 to Maroon 5's new album's cycle would be good-for-nothing considering that 2007's It Won't Be Soon Before Long had a lead single "Makes Me Wonder" that dropped on April 1, almost only a month before it's parent album release on May 16 and that Songs About Jane's (June 25, 2002) album cycle had it's lead single "Harder to Breathe" (July 9, 2002) set after the album's release.

But in Maroon 5's press release regarding V's album release date and upcoming supporting tour, it was confirmed that fans could expect a new single from the band "this summer."

So when do you think the new single will drop? Share with us in the comments or on Twitter!

The Voice Live Recap: Top 3 Sign, Seal & Deliver Their Final Spot In The Finale

The Voice top 3 perform for their lives & the coaches perform on stage on night one of the 'Voice' Finale

As The Voice's sixth season starts to come to a close, Monday night's show was full of explosive and exciting performances and events from the show's top 3 and even all four coaches Adam Levine, Usher, Shakira, and Blake Shelton.

Kicking off the live show tonight (May 19) was Team Adam's very own finalist Christina Grimmie performing the Miley Cyrus single "Wrecking Ball." Grimmie performed the song during the season's Blind Auditions which got Shakira, Blake, and Usher to push their big, red buttons and swivel their chairs 180 degrees to get Christina on their teams, however it was Adam Levine's convincing speech and quick chair-turn that got Grimmie to go pro-Team Adam. Only being in danger of elimination once on the seasons six's entirety, Grimmie was saved last week by fans of Levine's and Christina's alike to move on to this week's finale night. Adam Levine later took the stage to perform a stripped down, perfected version of "Somebody That I Used to Know" with his finalist Christina Grimmie. Her last performance of the night was a take on Elvis Presley's "I Can't Help Falling In  Love."

Josh Kaufman took the stage after the commercial break with his his coach Usher to tackle The Police's hit single "Every Breathe You Take." Kaufman was once on Team Adam, however during the Knockout rounds Josh was stolen from Levine and joined Team Usher. Josh Kaufman then later performed "Sign, Seal, Delivered , I'm Yours" by Stevie Wonder. Kaufman previously performed this song during the Knockout Rounds. Closing out the night, Kaufman sang "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele.

Jake Worthington took his country talent and performed Keith Whitley's "Don't Close Your Eyes." Worthington also performed this song during his Blind Audition and got Adam and Blake to both turn their chairs for the country crooner, however was won over by Blake. He later took the stage to perform "I'll Be Right Here Waiting For You" by Richard Marx. Him and his coach Blake Shelton took the stage later on to perform a duet of "A Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams, Jr.

Coaches Shakira and Blake Shelton took the stage to perform "Medicine", a cut from Shak's new self-titled album. Adam Levine took the stage later on the show to perform DeAngelo's R&B hit "How Does It Feel?" with fellow coach Usher.

The Voice season 6 finale will take place live tomorrow at 8/7pm CPT only on NBC! Don't miss it!

For one last time this season, NBC's The Voice coaches will be taking the stage and performing on Monday (May 19). Tomorrow night is the first of the two season finale nights on The Voice this week, which will include performances from Team Adam's Christina Grimmie, Team Usher's Josh Kaufman, and Team Blake's Jake Worthington as well as performances from Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine, Shakira, country crooner Blake Shelton, and R&B superstar Usher.

Tomorrow night is not the official season 6 finale of The Voice, however this Tuesday will see the show's final episode this Spring before returning for it's seventh season this fall.

Noah Passovoy Returning As Producer for New Maroon 5 Album

James Valentine (left) working with Noah "Mailbox" (right) in the studio.
"Mailbox" returns to executive produce Maroon 5's anticipated fifth album

Noah "Mailbox" Passovoy has been confirmed as a returning producer and executive mixing engineer for pop rock group Maroon 5's fifth studio album on-progress. On an Instagram photo posted earlier today on Jesse Carmichael's official Insta account, Passovoy was seen sitting at the recording booth mixing up a "new amazing sound" for the band's highly anticipated Overexposed follow-up. The fifth studio effort is expected to be released by this September through Interscope Geffen A&M in the United States.

Noah Passovoy has previously worked with the Los Angeles rockers on their fourth studio album, Overexposed, which dropped almost exactly two years ago on June 26th. "Mailbox" Passovoy shared the same roster of producers for the album with other "big time" names such as Benjamin "Benny Blanco" Levin (Bruno Mars, Gym Class Heroes), Max Martin (Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson), Daniel "Robocop" Omelio (Gavin DeGraw, Owl City), and Shellback (Taylor Swift, Icona Pop).

With Noah Passovoy's favoritism towards adult contemporary, rhythm and blues, soul, and jazz music, we can probably expect a sound as similar as the band's 2002 debut, Songs About Jane; producing songs with blues and rock incorporated easy-listening pop music.

Maroon 5 is expected to go back out on a world wide tour later this year (possibly in support of their fifth studio album) this fall or winter.

Adam Levine's Drastic Hair Change: James Valentine, Fans Weigh In

Adam Levine (right) and fiancee Behati Prinsloo (left).
Adam Levine's new bleached white hair is causing a ripple in the pool of Maroon 5 fans

During the afternoon on Saturday (May 3), Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine took it to Twitter to post a photo of him and his fiancee at Levine's home in Los Angeles. The photo struck fans, friends, and even people in general when they realized that Adam's hair was bleached completely blonde. All of it. And not only that, but The Voice coach was wearing a stylish cat-themed tank top in the photo as well.

Upon the Tweet's composure, fans weren't hesitant to weigh in on what their honest opinions were on Levine's sudden change in hair-do's. Just last month, we saw Adam take on a sudden change in his hair style when he shaved the sides of his head completely off and slicked his long, black hair back. Now, he's fluffed up his hair and made it completely white.

Here are some Maroon 5 fans' reactions to Adam's new hair below.

While most fans seem to weigh towards NOT quite enjoying his choice of bleaching his hair completely blonde, Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine shared his honest opinion on what he thought about his fellow band mate's hair style:

What is your opinion on Adam Levine's new hair? Share with us by tweeting @M5NewsRoom
