The 'Moves Like Jagger' man's team-up will surprise fans, according to the US rapper who says it's a real "dope" track.

"When everybody hears the Adam Levine record, I think they gonna go crazy," he told Rolling Stone. "I want that to hit people in the face.

The rapper also revealed that almost all of his collaborations on the album were recorded together with the artists in the studio, as appose to sending a series of emails.

Maroon 5 Earns Second Week Atop Hot 100 w/ 'One More Night' Single, PSY Comes In Close

Psy, the Korean rapper who brought the "Gangnam Style" to life this week, is the new Rebecca Black. The new Justin Bieber. The new big act in town. But not this week! The three time Grammy Award-winning group Maroon 5 is taking over the top spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a second week this sales week with their Overexposed hit single "One More Night." However, the sales forecast for next week looks like the song may fall a spot favoring to PSY's new single "Style."

On other chart notes, the band's Wiz Khalifa featured single "Payphone" takes a hit this week on the charts as the weeks go by. The "Payphone" hit falls from 15-20 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Night" makes a reign atop the chart. The single also descends 26-32 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart, moves up a spot 3-2 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart, cracks a few spots from 12-15 on the Canadian Hot 100 singles chart, and falls 11-14 on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart. The single's music video also topped the iTunes Store Music Video chart this past week.

"One More Night" makes it's reign atop the Hot 100 singles chart this week, but how's it hangin' on the other charts? Let's see. The reggae pop infused hit jumps 5-2 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, tops the On-Demand Chart moving up 4-1 on the tally, moves up from number 5-2 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart, climbs up a spot from 29-28 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart, debuts at No. 54 on the Billboard Japanese Hot 100 singles chart, stays at No. 2 on the Canadian Hot 100, jumps 9-5 on the Adult Pop Songs chart, and jumps into the top ten on the YouTube Charts moving up 12-8 on the tally.

The band's fourth CD, Overexposed, takes a hit falling 5-14 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week. On other chart notes, the pop album fell 12-15 on the Canadian Albums chart, and descended 9-14 on the Digital Albums chart.

Maroon 5 Scores Third Number-One With 'One More Night', Moves Like Jagger Makes Comeback

Maroon 5 Makes Third Number-One "One More Night"

Maroon 5 has done it again! The pop rock band currently touring the world right now and readying an Australian tour next month sets their sights at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with their newest single "One More Night." The single first debuted 13 weeks ago on the Hot 100 chart at No. 47. Looking backward to 2007 at their first number-one hit single "Makes Me Wonder", the band spend three weeks atop the chart. "Wonder" came from the band's only number-one platinum selling album It Won't Be Soon Before Long, which spent three weeks atop the Billboard 200 albums chart as well. And of course, who can forget one of the best selling hits of 2011, "Moves Like Jagger", featuring Christina Aguilera. That tune peaked atop the Hot 100 for four entire non-consecutive weeks.

With it being the almost 2 year anniversary of Maroon 5's third studio CD, Hands All Over, the album gets a fair boost the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart jumping up from 135-109 on the tally. It also takes a leap into the top ten on the Billboard Catalog Albums chart... grooving up 18-7 on the chart.

Now swinging our attention back at the band's newest No. 1 hit single "One More Night", not only did it top the tally this week, making it the band's third number-one in history, but the single also debuts big at No. 25 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Songs chart. On other chart notes, it also moved up from 8-5 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, jumped 11-5 on the Radio Songs chart, moves up four spots from 8-4 on the On-Demand Songs chart, and stays put at No. 2 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. Last but not least, the reggae pop infused tune climbs 11-9 on the Adult Pop Songs chart.

The band's new album, Overexposed regains some credit for this week's new number-one triumph of "One More Night." The album leaps rebounds from 11-6 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart after falling 5-11 last week on the tally. It also climbs 12-10 on the Canadian Albums chart, and moves up a spot on the Official U.K. Albums chart from 3-2. Over on the Digital Albums chart, the album moves up 9-4.

'One More Night' Slips Up to No. 2 on Hot 100

Add caption
With NBC's hit television show The Voice is full gear and Maroon 5 touring across the world, there's no doubt the band is heading towards a successful top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This week, the group's single "One More Night" moved up a spot from 3-2 on the tally. That's the band's second number-two hit this year since "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, hit it's peak at No. 2 three months ago.

"One More Night" seeks success on the charts every week. This week, the pop reggae-fused song finds it's way moving up 11-8 on the Billboard On-Demand Songs chart. On other chart notes, the single stays put at No. 8 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, moves up 13-11 on the Radio Songs chart, moves up a spot from 22-21 on the Latin Pop Songs chart, debuts at No. 99 on the Japan Hot 100, slides up a position from 2-1 on the Canadian Hot 100 singles chart, jumps 12-11 on the Adult Pop Songs chart, and jumps 3-1 on the Myspace Audio Charts making it the band's third number-one single on the tally following "Payphone" and "Moves Like Jagger", featuring Chris Aguilera.

The band's Spring single "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, slowly seems to be descending down the charts as "Night" is finding it's way up. The single falls 12-13 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week. On other charts, it falls 13-15 on the Pop Songs chart, descends 24-27 on the Digital Songs chart, slides down a spot on the Billboard On-Demand Songs chart from 9-10, and falls 5-6 on the Adult Pop Songs chart.

The band's 2011 dance-pop single "Moves Like Jagger", featuring Christina Aguilera, finds itself in the top one hundred on the Billboard Digital Songs chart this week re-entering at No. 77. Welcome back, old friend! Also, the band's album 2010 album Hands All Over jumps up a whoppin' 162-135 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The group's latest CD, Overexposed finds itself falling a position from 3-4 on the Billboard Digital Albums chart, 8-10 on the Canadian Albums Chart, and over on the Billboard 200 albums chart... it stays put at No. 6. This is the longest the band has had an album in the top ten since their 2007 album It Won't Be Soon Before Long stayed in the top ten for four weeks before falling off the tally.

Lucky Strike 'Voice' Ad Spikes Digital Sales, Could Be Next 'Overexposed' Radio Single

"Lucky Strike" is probably one of the biggest names of Maroon 5's newest pop envy-influences album, Overexposed, which dropped June 26th, that isn't titled as a single. But will it sell as a single? Over the past week conspiracy's have been floating it's way through the web saying that the next big Maroon 5 hit would be the Coldplay-sounding pop rock tune "Daylight", produced by frontman Adam Levine and Max Martin. However, just this past weekend it was rumored by amateur news blogs in the United Kingdom that the Noah "Mailbox" Passavoy-produced adult pop song "The Man Who Never Lied" wold serve as the next single from the album following the current hit "One More Night", which currently holds at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Earlier today, producer Noel Zancanella said that their only produced track on the album "Lucky Strike" spiked major digital downloads this week on iTunes and that it's role as a promotional single on 'The Voice' ad that NBC airs has boosted it's placement as a single. Zancanella also said apparently the track would be "perfect for people to dance too" and that "...it's a song everyone can get along with. It's very catchy."

Right now, Maroon 5 is making great success with their second biggest single of the year "One More Night" selling over 10,000 digital copies this week boosting it's chart position on the Billboard Hot 100 up from 3-2 surpassing Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" single from her album Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.

So could "Lucky Strike" serve as the next single? Or could it just be another false act spreading across the web? What are your opinions on the new single rumors? Tweet us at @M5NewsRoom on Twitter!

'The Voice' to Return Next Spring, With All Original Coaches

The Voice is currently ahead of their first week in the run of it's third season, and it's second season this year. It was announced yesterday on Billboard that the hit television show will be returning next Spring for a fourth season on NBC. And to top that all off, all four original coaches are planned to keep their occupants as coaches/judges.

The show's producer and CEO, Mark Burnett, commented on the new season

"It's going to be moving pieces all the time. And luckily maybe a couple of them go on tour, a couple of them don't go on tour," Burnett adds, saying it's his nightmare. "They have an obligation to their fans. And so that's how we're going to do it."

With this current, new season having new changes and switch-ups in course, being the new "knockout round" where any four coaches can snag anyone elses contestants off their team, this season is planned to be a four month-long run, rather than it's original three.

'The Man Who Never Lied' Video To Be Directed by Jonus Akerlund

Maroon 5 is two singles in to their new fourth album release, Overexposed, with two top three hits and a top selling single of the year. The band was set to release their rumored-to-be third Overexposed single titled "Daylight", following "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, and "One More Night, however yesterday Adam Levine composed a tweet quoting:

Adam Levine's followers speculated that the tweet was leaning more towards the speculation that he would be shooting the music video for "Daylight", however earlier this morning a photo was floating around the web via Instagram, of a director's board showing "The Man Who Lever Lied" featuring J. Akerlund and P. Ekberg. Could this video Maroon 5 is filming be the music video for "The Man Who Never Lied?" Well, doesn't this flush everything that brought us to believe that "Daylight" was going to serve as the next single down the toilet?

Also, a Maroon 5 fan blog announced earlier this evening that the band will be revealing the video over VEVO, a free music video streaming website, later this year.

'One More Night' Dominated Top Three on Hot 100, Hands All Over 'Takes a Hit' on Albums Chart

Maroon 5's new reggae smash hit "One More Night" has definetaly proven that the pop rock group can release more than just one hit single a year. With their Spring single "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, slowly fading from the Billboard charts, the new reggae dance-jam is taking over! While "Payphone" falls out of the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart from 8-12, "Night" moves up a single notch from 4-3 on the tally, being Maroon 5's third top three single on the chart in history (following their 2011 single "Moves Like Jagger", which topped the chart for four weeks).

As "Payphone", featuring Wiz Khalifa, is slowly falling off everyone's top ten on the charts, it also takes a fall from 13-19 on the Billboard Ringtone Chart. Over on the Adult Pop Songs chart, the single falls 4-5 on the tally. On the Pop Songs chart it descends 10-13, falls 18-24 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart, slides down 7-9 on the Billboard On-Demands Songs chart, stays hold at No. 6 on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart, falls a spot from 9-10 on the Canadian Hot 100 (previously a chart topper), and moves up a notch from 6-5 on the Myspace Audio Chart.

"One More Night" is doing quite well on the charts lately with Maroon 5's world wide tour and promotion for their new album, Overexposed. The new single moves up 14-8 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, debuted at No. 47 on the Latin Pop Songs chart, jumps 16-13 on the Radio Songs chart, moves up 19-11 on the On-Demands Songs chart, stays put at No. 3 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 singles chart, jumps 16-12 on the Adult Pop Songs chart, and slides up 7-2 on the Myspace Audio Chart.
